El Centro Family Health Board Scholarship

The ECFH Board is offering scholarships to provide financial support to those interested in becoming a health care professional or wish to work in some capacity in the health care field. This program is available for people from the communities ECFH serves and who are enrolled full time (12 credits or more) in classes toward a career in the Health Care services field, including and not limited to Physicians, Nurses, Psychiatry and Behavioral Health practitioners, Home Health care providers, and Dentists, Dental Hygienists and Assistants. Española Hospital Auxiliary

Scholarship Deadlines:
May 1st - Summer semester
August 1st - Fall semester
December 1st - Spring semester

Scholarships are available to students who have been accepted in the Nursing program and are awarded first on the basis of need. Amounts vary with the number of credit hours taken and the GPA maintained. Scholarships are for academic use only such as tuition, books, lab fees, etc., and are not to be used for personal use such as babysitting, etc. Funds are administered through the Financial Aid Department. Scholarship applications are available at the Española Hospital Administrators Office.


Ruby Palmlund and Leonard Maley Nursing Scholarship (for ADN students)

Scholarship Deadline: March 31st - Fall Semester

DeGroot-Atkins Nursing Scholarship
For residents of Sandoval County

The Rotary Club of Rio Rancho offers the DeGroot-Atkins Scholarship to nursing students pursuing an RN license or advanced degree in nursing each year. Scholarship amounts range from $1,000 to $10,000 and will be awarded for the Spring and/or Summer terms. Applications are due December 1, 2023.
