Empowering Cosmetology and Barbering Students

Northern New Mexico College is taking major steps to support its Cosmetology and Barbering students by combining generous contributions and real-world learning opportunities. President Hector Balderas has recently donated professional-grade barbering and cosmetology tools to the college’s Cosmetology Program, ensuring students have access to the equipment they need to excel in their training and future careers. $5 Haircuts Offered by Cosmetology and Barbering Students

In addition to the donation, the Cosmetology and Barbering Department is offering a unique opportunity for the community to support its students while receiving affordable grooming services. From now until October 3, 2024, students are offering $5 haircuts on campus. This initiative not only gives students the opportunity to practice their skills but also provides community members with an affordable service that directly contributes to students' learning experiences.

- Days: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays  
- Time: 8 AM – 2 PM  
- Location: Portable A, Española Campus  
- Price: $5 per haircut
