Work Study Positions Available

Work Study is a financial aid program that allows students to work on-campus or with approved off-campus employers to earn money to help pay for college. Work-Study is not automatically included in a student's financial aid package; Financial Aid will need to determine if you are eligible.

Job Description: Applicant will be supporting the American Indian Student Center with a range of administrative duties. The applicant must be knowledgeable of office equipment, online digital content creation, such as Canva or Creative Cloud and Google suite applications. Experience in community relations, public speaking and customer service is preferred.

Job Duties: Application will conduct administrative support for the AISC office, greet students and guest, create outreach materials, support recruitment efforts and community engagement activities.

Job Description: Under supervision and direction, performs custodial maintenance duties including dusting, mopping, finishing and buffing floors, vacuuming floors and shampooing carpets, cleaning and restocking bathrooms.

Job Duties: Promote a clean, safe and healthy work environment at all times. Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other work areas so that health standards are met. Clean rugs, carpets using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers, Sweep, scrub, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing machines. Cleans restrooms and restocks paper and soap supplies. Empty wastebaskets, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.

Job Duties:  Demonstrated friendly, professional and helpful demeanor at all times. Experience working with diverse groups of people. Very strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively as a member of a team.  Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
