Work Study Positions Available

Work-Study is a financial aid program that allows students to work on-campus or with approved off-campus employers to earn money to help pay for college. Work-Study is included in a student's financial aid package. For more information, contact Angelique Rodriguez, 505.747.2125.

Admissions & Recrutment - Administrative Assistant

America Reads - Reading & Math Tutors

Job Title: Math & Reading Tutors (k-12 grade)

Description:

Providing tutoring and supervision of reading participants in afterschool program. Must assist mentoring program staff in providing reading services to youth ages 5 -13. Must be able to track and assist in keeping files of youth assisted and their progress. Must be willing to clean up their designated area of workplace. Must assist in ordering of or providing materials for reading participants.

Business Office - Administrative Assistant

Description:

Clerk position provides clerical and administrative support to the Business Office and to the Executive Management of the College as needed. The position serves as the initial contact point for the College for staff, students and visitors entered the Rotunda of the Administration Building and when contacting the College via phone. The Clerk does NOT perform any cash functions (transportation of deposits, receiving of cash, etc.) Positively greet all people entering the Rotunda, answering inquiries when at the post of duty – front desk station. Answer of phone calls and provide information and/or transfer of calls as appropriate. Log all incoming requests for approval, distribute all purchase requisitions, validate journal entries within the Journal Log and file in appropriate binders. Scan travel requests and documents along with journal vouchers.

Eagle Cafe - Cashier Assistant

Must be available to work on Saturdays if needed for certain events (Basketball games, etc.) Will need to have great customer service skills in assisting new and current students along with the community. Must be available to work evening hours

Operations & Maintenance - Grounds Keeper

Assists in the repair, construction, renovation and preventive maintenance of masonry, carpentry, plumbing, heating, electrical, welding, painting, sheet metal, roofing, mechanical, landscaping and other related plant endeavors as directed. Minimum qualifications: Able to operate properly and safely with various power tools and equipment. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to use hand tools and have knowledge in the field.
