Freshmen
This is YOU if you are new to college and you are seeking a degree or certificate
at Northern.
Transfer students
This is YOU if you have attended college elsewhere and are seeking a degree or certificate at
Northern.
International students
This is YOU if you're an international student and are seeking a degree or certificate
at Northern.
Online students
This is YOU if you are enrolling in a fully online program in Business, Teacher Education
or RN to BSN.
Dual Credit students
Dual Credit is a statewide program allowing high school students to earn college credit tuition free.
Readmission students
This is YOU if you have not been enrolled at any time in the last three semesters.
Non-degree students
This is YOU if you are a high school graduate or GED completer, but do not wish to
pursue a degree or certificate.
Undocumented students
Undocumented and DACA/Dreamer students follow the same application procedure as all
domestic (not international) applicants to Northern.
