Free Carpentry Camp
Learn Carpentry for FREE and prepare to be job-ready for expanding opportunities in the construction trades. ! Choose from 3 schedules:
9:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday-Thursday, for 2 weeks (starts April 4, 2022)
6:00 pm - 8:30 pm, Monday-Thursday, for 4 weeks
10:00 am - 4:00 pm, Saturday & Sunday, for 4 weekends
Open to those receiving unemployment insurance or dislocated workers. Job placement assistance upon completion. Participants must be available to begin employment upon completion.
The first weekday camp begins April 4, 2022, with face-to-face OSHA 10 training for all participants on the Espanola campus. An online OSHA 10 option is also available. Once sufficient students sign up, additional weekday, evening and weekend camps on both the El Rito and Española campuses will be added.

The New Mexico Environmental Job Training Program is a FREE five-week intensive training program that provides training, skills and certifications needed to become an Environmental Technician. Instruction is provided through Santa Fe Community College’s nationally-ranked EPA workforce development program.
