Heritage Arts Classes Start September 13
MONDAYS & TUESDAYS  •  ONGOING

Spanish Colonial Woodworking
8am - 1pm & 2pm - 7pm  • 
Using basic tools and techniques, learn hand-held carving, including shaping, detailing and whittling. understand basic approaches to full round and relief mode, paving the way to create decorative elements for furniture and small sculptural objects.

Weaving Exploration
8am - 3pm  • Students learn the traditional design forms known as Saltillo, Rio Grande Traditional, Vallero, and Chimayó, to name a few. They come with their own modern sensibilities and through the course of their training, develop their skills in weaving, color, and design. Students learn the importance of keeping the tradition of Río Grande Style Weaving alive. Materials not included. $171. Instructor Heather Howard.
