Nursing @Northern
Northern has a long tradition of excellence in nursing education. We've been teaching nurses to meet the healthcare needs of our community since 1973.
Today we offer a nursing career ladder from Certified Nurse Aide (CNA), to Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), to pre-licensure ACEN-accredited Associate Degree Nursing program (RN) and a CCNE-accredited holistic RN to BSN completion program, as well as a AAS in Allied Health and a certificate in Phlebotomy.
Our nursing graduates can be found working at the bedside, in the community, and in leadership position both locally and nationally.
We are proud of our nursing and allied health programs, the diversity of our faculty and students, and our graduates who serve our community every day in a variety of healthcare settings. Nursing & Health Sciences (NHS) is committed to serving the educational needs of our cultureally diverse region. I hope that you will join us.

NNMC’S RN to BSN Program is New Mexico’s only American Holistic Nurses Credentialing Corporation (AHNCC) endorsed holistic nursing program. While honoring a traditional nursing education...
