Candy have been honored to serve Northern’s Center for Distance Education as the Curriculum Quality Analyst and QM Coordinator since early 2021. Candy's credentials include being a certified Quality Matters Peer Reviewer for both Higher Ed and K-12, as well as a K-12 Master Reviewer and certified Facilitator for QM training. She also hold a Teaching Online Certificate from QM.

Previously, She have worked as a teacher and school administrator in Texas, holding certifications as a Teacher and Principal in Colorado as well. Candy's academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Texas at Tyler and a Master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction with an emphasis in Technology from Colorado Christian University.

She have been an instructor in Higher Education since 2010, and during that time have also served in roles such as student teaching supervisor, faculty coach, and instructional coordinator. Her privilege and passion lie in collaborating with educators to develop and enhance their professional skills.
