I attended the College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) in my first year of college. This program provided me with great resources, educational opportunities, and tons of support/encouragement. Stephanie McReynolds is one staff member my CAMP Advisor. I would love to point her out. Miss Steph was always there for me. She would encourage and guide me not only through my first year of college, but she was always there to support and help me with resources throughout my college experience. Every staff member in the program was always so kind, helpful, and supportive. The staff members of CAMP come together as a team to help their students be the best they can be and encourage them to do their best. I will always be grateful for CAMP and all the support and encouragement they gave me to get me through college and become a Registered Nurse.
I am so grateful to have been part of the CAMP Program. It was incredibly helpful and led to lasting mentorships and friendships. The sense of community, academic support, and guidance from our instructors made it a very memorable experience and allowed me to gain key experiences for success at Northern New Mexico College.
At CAMP - We are all a big family! CAMP helped me with my first year of college but most importantly they supported me during my educational career. CAMP helped me with a variety of benefits such as financial aid help, tutoring, tuition, books and supplies. I’m very appreciative of the opportunities that CAMP provided. Being a CAMP student not only helped me to better myself but also helped me to succeed toward my educational goals. I will be forever grateful for the support that the Camp program and staff provided.

Being a part of CAMP has been a wonderful opportunity for me during my college journey. I have been with CAMP since 2021 as a CAMP Student Completer, CAMP Leader, and CAMP Office Assistant. The reason I continued to stay with the program is because of the amount of support and the kind environment they provide every time you walk into the CAMP office. I had the privilege of connecting with people from different backgrounds and cultures, and the bonds we formed were truly special.  I was also given a mentor who took their time and shared their experience in the field of "nursing". The supportive and inclusive atmosphere allowed for personal growth and the development of lifelong friendships. The best part of CAMP is knowing you have an amazing support system with you throughout your college journey. Thank you, CAMP, for the dedication, passion, and hard work you put into creating such a remarkable experience for your students.

During my first year at college, I participated in the College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP). This program helped me adjust to college life and gave me a sense of community and belonging. I had the opportunity to gain advice on time management, effective studying, and the chance to be involved in many campus activities. I was also introduced to many other students whom I was able to build friendships with. This program taught me the importance of seeking out support and guidance when navigating through my first year of college, and I can truly say it contributed to my academic growth.
Camp helped me get used to college life, helped me introduce myself to professors, and gave me great tools that helped me such as tutoring and monthly reviews to keep track of how I'm progressing in college. I would not be nearly as successful as a college student without camp today.
