The Bachelor of Arts Programs in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education; and the Alternative Licensure Programs, Elementary Education, Secondary Education and Special Education were accredited in Spring 2022 by New Mexico Public Education Department’s Professional Practices and Standards Committee and nationally accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) in 2024 to include the Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education program.

Standard 2: Clinical Partnerships and Practice
Standard 3: Candidate Quality, Recruitment
Standard 4: Program Impact
Standard 5: Provider Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Capacity.
