Our Associate of Arts degree in General Psychology offers a comprehensive introduction to the field of psychology. Our program covers fundamental topics such as Basic Counseling Techniques and Developmental Psychology, providing students with a solid foundation for understanding human behavior. Students also enjoy undergraduate research opportunities early in their college careers.

This program prepares students for entry-level positions in human resources and social services and serves as a perfect stepping stone for further education in psychology or related fields, and seamless transfer to a bachelor’s degree in emphasis psychology through the Integrated Studies program at Northern.
