Board of Regents

The NNMC Board of Regents is composed of five members who are nominated by the Governor of New Mexico and appointed by and with consent of the Senate, for staggered terms of six years except for the student regent who is appointed for a two-year term.

The Board’s power to govern the College includes fiduciary responsibility for its assets and programs, the establishment of goals and policies, and oversight of the functioning of the institution. The Board vests responsibility for the operation and management of the College in the President, its sole employee.
