
Northern New Mexico Stem Mentor Collective is offering a free summer camp for 7th-12th grade students, from July 17 to August 4th.
The camp which meets from 9 am to noon, Monday through Friday, will allow students to build and test Swinecraft, a new game platform, in addition to Tarantuino, a robotic remote controlled tarantula.
Students will also get a chance to improve their math and science skills and take part in a variety of educational and fun activities.
The camp is free thanks to the support of the National Science Foundation and SN3: Stoller Newport News Nuclear.
