Rio Arriba Board of County Commissioners supports GO Bond 3

The Rio Arriba Board of County Commissioners have adopted a Resolution supporting GO Bond 3, which will provide more than $215.6 million for capital improvements for New Mexico’s higher education institutions if voters approve it on November 8, 2022.

Northern is requesting $3 million in Bond 3 money to make necessary improvements to our parking lots and roads at the Española and El Rito campuses. We hope to be more environmentally oriented and install solar canopies to help reduce our energy costs and provide shade.

The Northern New Mexico College Board of Regents, the NNMC Faculty Senate and Student Senate have also passed Resolutions supporting Bond 3. Remember to vote on Bond 3 when you cast your ballot this election!
