Northern Invites You to the 2019 Stay at Home Gala!

Hello Friends!

This year, we are seeking your support from the comfort of your own home in lieu of our traditional gala event. Hosting our fundraiser as a "Stay at Home Gala" allows more of your gift to go where it is most needed.

Northern is continuing its commitment to providing scholarships to students, but we recognize a need to support students in ways that go above and beyond tuition and fees. For this reason, any contribution you make this year will go toward the Northern New Mexico College President's Eagle Fund.

The President's Eagle fund provides immediately accessible funds that allow President Bailey to say "yes" to providing resources in areas of greatest need. For example, the Eagle Fund is supporting the purchase of accessibility equipment to help deaf students learn in the classroom, and the establishment of a new food bank and clothing closet on campus for students in need.

If you sponsored our event last year with a contribution of $5,000 or more, we encourage you to continue your support in that amount or greater this year. If you sponsored a table at one of our previous events, we encourage you to consider giving $1,000 or more as part of this year's campaign. If you attended as a guest, or purchased a live or silent auction item, please consider giving $100 or more. Gifts made by December 31, 2019 are tax-deductible for the 2019 tax year. Thanks to generous donors like you, we have raised $49,500 toward our total goal of $250,000.
