07/31/2024 03:39:12 PMThe New Mexico Land Grant Commission's meeting at Northern New Mexico College on Thursday, June 25, featured a memorable highlight: a police-escorted cruise through Española with LOS GUYS CC. This unique event was arranged by Senator Leo Jaramillo, who expressed his pride in representing the Low Rider Capitol of the world, stating, “I’m proud to represent the Low Rider Capitol of the world, where we’re brown, we’re down and we’re low to the ground.” The tour included esteemed commissioners Representative Harry Garcia, Representative Stefani Lord, Senator Elizabeth Stefanics, and Senator Shannon Pinto. Senator Stefanics commended the collaboration, saying, "It was great to see the police and the lowriders working together." A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the lowriders who participated and the police for their support in making this event a success.
