Highlights include Tai Chi classes, held in the peaceful campus park, where participants relax and balance body and mind through this ancient Chinese practice. The Horno Construction course taught traditional adobe-building techniques, with students reshaping a horno and celebrating with freshly baked bread. In the Kernel to Tortilla Workshop, participants learned to prepare blue corn dishes, honoring Indigenous food heritage with guidance from Nixta Kitchen.
