Virtual Drop-in Advisement

Current students are welcome to utilize Advisement’s virtual drop-in academic advising services. Our academic advisors are here to support you during this time.

Drop-in advising is best suited for 10-15 minute questions. If you would like to schedule a longer appointment, please call 505-747-2150 or email advisement@nnmc.edu

Please use the Virtual Drop-In Calendar on this page to find the most up-to-date advising drop-in times.

  • Click the link in the calendar for an advising drop-in.
  • Then click on the Zoom link to be instantly connected to the advisor hosting the drop-in session.
  • Please note: advisors will be using the waiting room feature, so there may be a slight waiting period if an advisor is wrapping up with another student.
  • If you would like to schedule a longer appointment, please call 505-747-2150 or email advisement@nnmc.edu

Examples of what you could speak about with an academic advisor in a virtual drop-in session:

  • Concern about a current class
  • Quick questions about academic requirements
  • Review of class schedule, but not long-term planning
  • Referrals to other campus services or resources
  • Academic policies at Northern
