Program Educational Objectives

Program educational objectives are broad statements that describe what graduates are expected to attain within a few years of graduation. The Information Technology Engineering program at Northern New Mexico College has the following educational objectives:

1. Graduates will be situated in growing careers involving design, development, and support of Information Technology Systems.

2. Graduates will perform effectively individually and in teams.

3. Graduates will have demonstrated involvement in high-level technical and leadership roles.

4. Graduates will have accumulated technical expertise to remain globally competitive.

The Northern Foundation remains committed to stimulate leadership, promote equity, and grow resources and philanthropy in the Española Valley and surrounding rural areas. Over the past twenty years, we have granted $1.3 million to support over 1,250 NNMC students.
