Explore Tutoring Options at NNMC!

Northern has several academic support and tutoring resources available for students to access remotely for help in a variety of subjects. Students are highly encouraged to take advantage of these free resources. Read the descriptions below for more information.

The Math Learning Center (MLC) is offering online tutoring synchronously through Zoom, and asynchronously through WebAssign (WA). Our tutors’ schedule and links for their Zoom meetings are accessible through students’ Eagle accounts.

The Math Learning Center is available to help students Monday - Thursday from 10 am - 7 pm

For Spring and Summer 2020, the Writing Center is providing synchronous telephone tutoring. We offer help at all stages of the writing process, whether you need help brainstorming ideas for your paper, planning how to organize it, revising or polishing it or using correct MLA or APA citation.

The Writing Center is available to help students Monday & Tuesday from 10 am - 7:30 pm, Wednesday & Thursday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., and Friday from Noon - 3 pm (by appointment).

Northern's Peer Tutoring Center offers free tutoring sessions in our drop-in Zoom Room in business courses, biology/chemistry, math, physics, and Spanish. Sessions are led by current NNMC students who are experts in each area.

The Peer Tutoring Center is available to help students Monday-Thursday from 8 am to 6 pm and Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.
