Northern New Mexico College is very happy to announce that our Commencement Celebration will be in-person this year, on Saturday, May 14, 2022 in the Eagle Gymnasium!

All Northern graduates from 2020, 2021 and Spring 2022 can proudly walk the stage in their regalia this year.

  • MORNING Ceremony at 9 am: For Business Administration, Teacher Education and Language & Letters graduates.
  • AFTERNOON Ceremony at 3 pm: Arts & Human Sciences, Biology, Chemistry & Environmental Science, Engineering & Technology, Mathematics, and Nursing & Health Sciences graduates.

COVID-safer guidelines: While we will not require proof of vaccination in order to attend Commencement ceremonies, there will be temperature checks, and we strongly recommend vaccinations and boosters for everyone in our community. We ask that you kindly consider others who may be more vulnerable to the virus and its variants and please wear a mask.

REHEARSAL Schedule for all events:
HEP & AE: Wednesday, May 11 at 4 pm
Nurse Pinning: Thursday, May 12 at 10am
Main Commencement: Friday, May 13 at 6pm

The High School Equivalency (HEP) and Adult Education programs will hold a graduation ceremony at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 12.

The Associate Degree in Nursing program will hold a Pinning Ceremony at 2 p.m. Friday, May 13.
