In addition to the garlic picking contest, live music, and breakfast, there will be garlic braiding workshops, remedio workshops for adults and children, and children’s field games with prizes.

Awards Ceremony: The Rey and Reina de Ajo (King and Queen Garlic) will be awarded at 11:45. This honor is bestowed on a man and woman who are advocates for traditional, small scale farming in northern New Mexico. The winners of the Garlic Picking Teams will also be announced at this time.
