Center for Distance Education

Northern New Mexico College's Center for Distance Education supports both students and faculty in the use of educational technologies and emerging content delivery methods. Our primary method for supporting a culture of quality student centered learning is through the delivery of effective, timely, technological support to all students and faculty.

Blackboard Student Support

Your instructor should always be your first point of contact if you experience issues using Blackboard. They want to know if you are having technical difficulties or questions about assignments and will only know if you reach out to them. Their contact information should be posted in the class syllabus or in Blackboard listed under “Instructor Information.”

Self Support options are important to know about.

At the following link for Blackboard Help you will find solutions to common problems students encounter with Blackboard either as first time users or as returning students.

Northern also provides Blackboard technical support for students and faculty through the Center for Distance Learning.

Our Support Line hours are Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM. Your call is very important to us if your call is unanswered leave a detailed message about your problem (including phone number) and we will call you back
