Get Involved in Northern's Provost Search!

Northern seeks public input for Provost selection process

Española, NM – Northern New Mexico College is in the process of selecting a new Provost for the institution and invites the public to attend open forums and provide feedback about the candidates in January and February 2014.

Northern is considering four candidates for the position, each of whom will speak and answer questions from faculty, staff, students and the community at large.

The visiting schedule is as follows:

  • Dan Suson, PhD: Tuesday, January 28
  • Pedro Martinez, PhD: Thursday, January 30
  • John Hy, PhD: Tuesday, February 4
  • Kenneth Gonzalez, PhD: Tuesday, February 6

Northern’s new Provost will be responsible for the College’s academic programs and academic budget, and will collaborate with the president, deans, chairs and directors to set academic priorities for the College.
