"Funding Northern New Mexico's Future"

Since 1996 the Northern New Mexico College Foundation-a non profit 505(c)(3) corporation has been raising funds to support scholarships and other College Initiatives. The Foundation exists to promote and further the interests, objectives and purposes of the College; to seek and receive gifts, legacies and grants of money or other tangible assets; to administer such for the benefit of the college; and to provide active leadership, direction and expertise in fund raising efforts for the College.

The Foundation's Scholarship Endowment Funds have grown to approximately 3 million dollars. The purpose of the Endowments is to ensure access to higher education for students from throughout northern New Mexico. The majority of our students balance work and school in an effort to improve their opportunities. Scholarship support can keep students focused on completion of their education.

Scholarship awards are formally presented at a fall awards dinner honoring the winners and the generous donors who made the awards possible.

The mission of the Foundation is to increase, manage, and distribute resources for the benefit of the students, the college and the community.
